Club racing forms the backbone of New Zealand yachting. At Ponsonby Cruising Club we offer a selection of keelboat racing options throughout the year. We’re proud of the events we run, which we try to keep as smooth and professional as possible. Our emphasis is on having fun, so we try to ensure that our races are relaxed affairs, with simple but effective courses to make your sailing as enjoyable as possible.
After a fun days racing on the harbour, most crews come back to the clubhouse for an informal prizegiving, a few drinks, and some great food prepared by our host Russell.
