On Tuesday night we had the 3rd Women on Water event at the PCC. It was a great night!

We would like to say thank you to Alana Pooly and Julia Hamilton gave some insight in to the marine industry and how they started. Both are now working for Explore NZ, they gave away a double pass for a sail on the America's Cup boats.  

Also, thank you to Bicky from North Sails, Joy Adams, Jenny Price and Zib Campbell, who then gave some top tips about sail trim - What to look for, How to go fast. Followed by the importance of a flat boat and the communication lines that needs to happen between trimmers and helmsperson.

The final evening is on Tuesday 23rd August with a focus on racing, starting and rules!
