As a yacht club passionate about sharing our sport with the community, it's already great that you're considering bringing your tamariki along for a sailing experience! Add to that the fact that while they're not on the water they're learning important lessons about how boats, navigation, and the wind work and we are more than stoked to be a RŪNĀ club!
Our priority is the safety of our sailors, and we stand to gain nothing from giving new sailors a fright! That's why we have our own set of lifejackets, warm raincoats, and charge a price that you can split between your sailors so that we can maintain our equipment and hire professionals to take care of all our young yachtsmen and women on the water.
We charge $1250 per day regardless of how many tamariki you bring. (maximum of 36 students per day due to our on water coach:sailor ratio).
If its suitable, we can operate from 9am to 3pm like a normal school day. However, if you need to start and end your day at school we can start at 9.30am and end at have you out the door by 2.30pm to accomodate that.
